Type any five-letter word and press enter. Each letter comes back colored: green is in the word at that exact spot, gold is in the word somewhere else, gray is not in the word at all. You have six rows to corner the answer, and the on-screen keyboard remembers every letter you've tested.

The daily word is the same for everyone, so it makes a good standing duel with a friend. If you came here hunting for Wordle type games, this is that — plus an unlimited practice mode: solve the daily, then keep playing random words from the same list, where faster solves earn bigger scores and three guesses or fewer wins the Mind Reader badge.

Spend your first two guesses on coverage, not conviction. Two words that share no letters — say ROAST then LINED — test ten letters including four vowels, and the grid usually falls open from there. Guessing your hunch on row one feels great the day it works and costs you the streak every other day.

One puzzle per day, same five-letter word for every player worldwide, reset at midnight UTC. Six guesses, standard color feedback, and your solve is scored by rows used and time taken — three guesses or fewer earns the Mind Reader badge. Practice mode is always open and deals unlimited words from the same dictionary, so the daily stays special without rationing your play.

As typing practice, the daily word puzzle earns its spot in the rotation for one reason: it's retrieval, not copying.
